The European Board of Bovine Experts (EBBE) aim to debate the best ways of driving up productivity, fostering animal health and managing margins at their bi-annual meetings.

EBBE – European Board of Bovine Experts

EBBE consists of veterinary, nutrition and animal management experts from across the EU and our aim is toissue guidelines and recommendations regarding the challenges in modern dairy farming. The main topic – besides animal health and welfare – is to maintain productivity through optimised management and nutritional practices. The guidelines and recommendations are based on current scientific knowledge and will be updated on a regular basis.

The Board intends to:

Create guidelines, tools and recommendations for farmers, vets, consultants, nutritionists and feed producers. Current areas of interest:

Hoof health and management
Calf health and survivability
Good management practices (GMP)
